Fire & Blast Protection – KFORTS’ Life-Saving Innovations
When disaster strikes, ordinary windows become deadly hazards. KFORTS’ Fire Resistance and Explosion Resistance glazing systems provide critical escape time, meeting EN 13123-2 (Blast) and EN 357/1364-3 (Fire) certifications.
Case Study: The Need for Explosion-Resistant FaçadesAfter the 2020 Beirut port explosion, architects emphasized Façade resilience. KFORTS’ Explosion Resistance (ER3) windows minimize fragmentation, while Fire Resistance (EI120) maintains compartmentalization in high-rises.
Technical Excellence by KFORTSOur design team specializes in Combined Performances:Fire Resistance: Up to 120 minutes of integrity/insulation.Explosion Resistance: Certified for pressure waves up to 100 kPa.System Building Physics: Ensures thermal and sound insulation.
From Safe Houses to embassies, KFORTS’ Security Glass solutions are engineered for worst-case scenarios—proving that safety and elegance can coexist.
