Certified Fire Rated Glazing for Life Safety and Property Protection
KFORTS delivers advanced fire rated glazing solutions that comply with EN 13501-2 standards, providing critical compartmentation in modern buildings. Our fireproof systems achieve EI classifications from EI30, EI60, EI90 to EI120, offering both integrity (E) and insulation (I) performance to prevent flame and smoke spread while limiting heat transmission.
The Grenfell Tower tragedy in London emphasized the catastrophic consequences of inadequate fire compartmentation. KFORTS' fire resistance technology creates transparent barriers in glass partition walls, glass door systems, and glass curtain wall applications that maintain their protective integrity during fire events. Unlike traditional wired glass, our ceramic-based fire resistant glazing offers superior clarity and can be incorporated into modern architectural designs without compromising safety.
Our fire rated solutions are tested to EN 1363-1 standards and are compatible with intumescent seal technology that expands at high temperatures, creating an effective seal between the glazing and framework. This comprehensive approach ensures that KFORTS' glass window and door systems provide reliable protection, helping to safeguard escape routes and prevent fire spread in commercial, residential, and institutional buildings across Europe.
