Bulletproof & Burglarproof – KFORTS’ Unmatched Security Glazing
Security breaches are evolving, and so are the solutions. KFORTS, a leading manufacturer of Security Glass, provides Bullet Resistance and Burglar Resistance glazing that combines military-grade protection with architectural elegance.
Real-World Threats Demand Advanced Solutions
A recent armed heist at a European bank demonstrated how traditional glass shatters instantly under gunfire, leaving occupants defenseless. KFORTS’ Glass Windows and Façade systems, compliant with EN 1522-1523 (Bullet Resistance) and EN 1627-1630 (Burglar Resistance), are engineered to resist such attacks while maintaining aesthetic appeal.
The Science Behind KFORTS’ Superior Protection
Our expert design team leverages System Building Physics to develop multi-layered glazing with tempered glass, PVB interlayers, and reinforced framing. Key features include:Bullet Resistance (FB1-FB7): Certified to withstand shots from handguns to high-powered rifles.Burglar Resistance (P2A-P8B): Resists sustained attacks from tools like drills and crowbars for over 20 minutes.Combined Performances: Optional integration with Fire Resistance (EI60) or Explosion Resistance (ER3) for holistic safety.
For Safe House applications, KFORTS ensures seamless installation of Glass Doors and windows, maintaining energy efficiency (EN 14351-1) and sound insulation (EN ISO 717-1).
