Ballistic and Blast Protection for High-Risk Environments.
KFORTS' bullet proof glazing systems meet EN 1063 ballistic standards (BR4-BR7), providing protection against high-velocity rounds while minimizing dangerous spall. The 2020 Vienna attack demonstrated how proper ballistic resistance glazing reduces casualties by containing fragmentation. Our blast resistant solutions comply with EN 13123-13124, engineered to absorb explosive energy and prevent hazardous fragmentation - critically important during the 2016 Brussels airport bombing.
Applications include bullet resistant glass curtain walls for embassies, blast proof glass façades for government buildings, and anti-explosion partitions in high-risk facilities. All systems feature reinforced framing certified to EN 1522/1523, ensuring complete protective envelope integrity. KFORTS' bullet proof technology utilizes multiple glass layers with specialized polymer interlayers, maintaining transparency while providing life-saving protection.
Recent advancements allow integration of blast resistance into architecturally striking designs without compromising security performance. Each system undergoes rigorous testing at certified European facilities, ensuring reliable performance in extreme threat scenarios.
