Ballistic and Blast Resistant Solutions for Extreme Threats..
From armed assaults to explosive threats, high-risk environments require transparent armor that guarantees life safety. KFORTS’ bullet proof glazing systems are rigorously tested to European ballistic standard EN 1063, offering ballistic resistance levels from BR4 to BR7. These solutions utilize layered glass and polymer interlayers to stop high-velocity rounds and minimize spall—a critical feature highlighted by the 2020 Vienna attack, where fragmentation injuries proved fatal.
For blast scenarios, our blast resistant systems comply with EN 13123-13124, delivering certified anti-explosion performance. The 2016 Brussels airport bombing demonstrated how blast proof glazing prevents hazardous fragmentation, saving lives by maintaining structural integrity. Applications include bullet resistant glass curtain walls for embassies and blast proof glass façades for government buildings. All systems incorporate EN 1522/1523-certified framing to ensure end-to-end protection.
KFORTS combines advanced materials science with precision engineering to deliver bullet proof and blast resistance solutions that meet the demands of high-risk environments while preserving architectural vision.
