Comprehensive Ballistic and Blast Protection for High-Risk Environments
KFORTS provides life-saving bullet proof solutions engineered to European standard EN 1063, offering protection levels from BR4 to BR7. Our ballistic resistance technology incorporates multiple glass layers with specialized interlayers to stop high-velocity projectiles while minimizing dangerous spall. The tragic events at the 2020 Vienna attack highlighted how proper bullet resistant glazing can significantly reduce casualties in violent incidents.
For extreme threat scenarios, our blast resistant systems are designed to EN 13123-13124 specifications, providing certified anti-explosion protection. These blast proof solutions absorb and dissipate explosive energy, maintaining structural integrity and preventing hazardous fragmentation. The 2016 Brussels airport bombing demonstrated the critical importance of proper blast mitigation in public spaces.
KFORTS' expertise extends to various applications including secure glass curtain wall systems, glass door entries, and protective glass façade solutions. Each system undergoes rigorous testing at certified European laboratories, ensuring reliable performance when it matters most. Our engineering team considers both the glazing and framing systems to provide holistic protection that meets the most demanding security requirements.
