Comprehensive Ballistic and Blast Protection Systems
KFORTS' bullet proof glazing systems meet rigorous European ballistic standard EN 1063, achieving protection levels from BR4 to BR7. Our ballistic resistance technology utilizes multiple glass layers with specialized polymer interlayers, effectively stopping high-velocity rounds while minimizing dangerous spall. The 2020 Vienna attack tragically demonstrated how proper ballistic protection can significantly reduce casualties in violent incidents.
For extreme threat scenarios, our blast resistant solutions comply with EN 13123-13124 specifications, providing certified anti-explosion performance. These blast proof systems absorb and dissipate explosive energy, maintaining structural integrity and preventing hazardous fragmentation - critically important lessons learned from the 2016 Brussels airport bombing.
Applications include bullet resistant glass curtain walls for diplomatic facilities, blast proof glass façades for government buildings, and security glass partitions in high-risk environments. All systems feature reinforced framing certified to EN 1522/1523, ensuring complete protective envelope integrity. KFORTS' integrated approach combines advanced materials with precision engineering to deliver reliable protection against extreme threats.
