Certified Ballistic and Blast Resistant Solutions for Life Safety
KFORTS’ bullet proof systems are tested to EN 1063 ballistic standards (BR4, BR5, BR6, BR7), EN1522-1523 (FB4, FB5, FB6, FB7), protecting against high-velocity rounds while minimizing lethal spall. The 2020 Vienna attack underscored the importance of ballistic resistance glazing, where fragmentation from standard glass caused significant injuries. Our blast resistant solutions, compliant with EN 13123-13124, absorb shockwaves from explosions, maintaining structural integrity and preventing hazardous fragmentation. The 2016 Brussels airport bombing highlighted the need for blast proof technology in public spaces.
Applications include bullet resistant glass curtain walls for embassies, blast resistance glass façades for government buildings, and anti-explosion partitions in high-risk facilities. All systems feature reinforced framing certified to EN 1522/1523. KFORTS’ expertise ensures seamless integration of bullet proof and blast proof solutions, delivering science-backed protection for extreme threats.
