Mitigating Extreme Threats with Ballistic and Blast Resistant Solutions
The need for transparent armor extends beyond military installations to embassies, banks, and public buildings. KFORTS meets this demand with advanced bullet proof glazing engineered to European ballistic standard EN 1063.
Our ballistic resistance systems, rated from BR4 to BR7, from FB4 to FB7, are designed to stop high-caliber rounds and, crucially, contain dangerous spall (glass fragments) upon impact. The tragic 2020 attack in Vienna underscored how fragmentation from standard windows can cause severe secondary injuries. Similarly, the threat of explosions necessitates blast resistant glazing. Our blast proof solutions, developed in line with EN 13123/13124 principles, are engineered to absorb the energy of a pressure wave, preventing the glass façade from shattering into lethal projectiles and helping to maintain the building's structural integrity.
KFORTS' anti-explosion glass curtain walls and bullet resistant glass doors provide a robust protective envelope without sacrificing aesthetics or light. For any high-risk environment, our certified products represent a life-saving investment in ultimate protection.
